Job summary

Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of diesel engine components.
• Good IT and diagnostic skills; physically fit to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Proficiency with maintenance and repair tools; strong attention to detail.
• Good interpersonal skills and excellent verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Run diagnostic tests on vehicles.
• Analyze diagnostic test results.
• Replace vehicle engines, steering mechanisms, transmissions, and braking systems.
• Check vehicle lighting systems.
• Test drive vehicles to gauge performance.
• Perform preventative maintenance on service trucks.
• Maintain detailed records of serviced vehicles.
• Adhere to an inspection procedure checklist.
• Maintain a parts inventory.
• Ensure the cleanliness of the shop.
• Agile decision making on other equipment (Top Handler, Forklift, Yard Spotter, service van, etc.)
