Job summary

GFL Environmental Inc. seeks an experienced diesel/CNG technician to diagnose and repair fleet vehicles in our Texas shop, under the guidance of shop leadership.

You will perform maintenance, DOT and brake inspections, test drive trucks, and complete reports and parts orders to keep the fleet road-ready. The role requires 3+ years of diesel/CNG experience, CDL preferred, and certifications such as Brake and 609 A/C, with willingness to obtain CDL if needed.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of diesel and CNG maintenance experience.
• Knowledge of DOT and OSHA regulations.
• Ability to read and interpret maintenance manuals and safety rules.
• Experience with diagnostic software is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair and maintain Diesel and CNG fleet vehicles.
• Test drive trucks to diagnose malfunctions.
• Perform brake and engine inspections and emission checks.
• Complete reports, work orders and parts requests daily.
• Maintain a safe and clean work area.
