Job summary

GFL is seeking a skilled Diesel/CNG mechanic to diagnose, repair, and maintain the fleet in Fort Worth, TX. You will work under supervision with senior technicians to ensure road-ready vehicles.

Responsibilities include inspecting brakes and engines, performing electrical/hydraulic repairs, and completing reports and parts orders. Prior DOT knowledge and safety training are required, with CDL and ASE certifications preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience with diesel and CNG vehicle maintenance.
• Knowledge of DOT and safety regulations.
• Ability to read and interpret manuals and maintenance docs.
• Experience with electrical and hydraulic repairs is a plus.
• Preference for ASE certifications and CDL credentials.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain Diesel and CNG fleet.
• Inspect brakes, engine components, emissions, steering, wheel bearings.
• Test drive trucks to diagnose malfunctions.
• Perform electronic diagnostics and repair electrical/hydraulic systems.
• Conduct DOT and brake inspections on vehicles.
• Complete reports, work orders, and order parts as needed.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area and follow safety rules.
