Job summary

Somerset Auto Repair is seeking an experienced Diesel Automotive Technician to diagnose and repair light‑duty diesel and gasoline vehicles in a clean, organized shop. This family‑owned shop emphasizes quality workmanship and career development.

The position offers a Monday–Friday schedule with no weekends, a 4‑day option, paid vacation, holidays, and full benefits. Candidate must have 5+ years of automotive/diesel experience and own tools.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of automotive and/or light‑duty diesel experience.
• Own tools and toolbox required.
• Strong diagnostic and problem‑solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair automotive and light‑duty diesel vehicles.
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections on gas and diesel vehicles.
• Use diagnostic tools and equipment effectively.

This position focuses on light-duty diesel vehicles. We do not perform heavy-duty diesel work.
