Job summary

Somerset Auto Repair in Somerset, KY is seeking a Diesel Automotive Technician with 5+ years of automotive and/or light-duty diesel experience. You work Monday–Friday, 8–5, with no weekend shifts, and may opt into a 4-day work week.

Bring your own tools and toolbox to join our family-owned shop. Responsibilities include diagnosing and repairing gas and light-duty diesel vehicles, performing routine maintenance, using diagnostic tools, and communicating with service advisors.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of automotive and/or light-duty diesel technician experience.
• Own tools and toolbox required.
• Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair automotive and light-duty diesel vehicles accurately and efficiently.
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections on gas and light-duty diesel vehicles.
• Use diagnostic tools and equipment effectively.
