Somerset Auto Repair is seeking a Diesel Automotive Technician to service light-duty diesel and gasoline vehicles in a well-established, family-owned shop in Somerset, KY. The role emphasizes accuracy, efficiency, and adherence to quality standards.

The position offers a Monday–Friday schedule with no weekends, potential 4-day work week option, paid time off, holidays, full benefits, and ongoing training in a modern shop environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of automotive and/or light-duty diesel technician experience.
• Own tools & toolbox required.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work well in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair automotive and light-duty diesel vehicles accurately and efficiently.
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections on gas and light-duty diesel vehicles.
• Use diagnostic tools and equipment effectively.
• Diagnose and repair light-duty diesel systems and components.
• Communicate clearly with service advisors.
• Maintain high standards of quality and workmanship.
