Dietary Aide Job Description

A Dietary Aide assists with preparing, serving, and distributing meals to patients or residents in hospitals, nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and other healthcare settings. Responsibilities include ensuring meals meet individual dietary requirements, maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in the kitchen and dining areas, washing dishes, and following food safety guidelines. The Dietary Aide also helps provide courteous service to patients and residents while supporting the dietary department in delivering nutritious meals according to prescribed diets and facility standards.
