Job summary

Great Plains Manufacturing, a Kubota company, seeks a Die & Tooling Manager in Assaria, KS to lead Advanced Tooling and Manufacturing Operations, including tooling, fixtures, prototype support, and specialized manufacturing capabilities. You will balance brand-specific requirements with shared tooling priorities and drive scalable workflow improvements across Engineering, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field preferred.
• 5+ years leadership experience in engineering operations, tooling, or manufacturing.
• Experience coordinating tooling, fixtures, and prototype development across multiple product lines.
• Strong understanding of engineering documentation and manufacturing workflows.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic vision for GPM Advanced Tooling and Manufacturing Operations across GPAG, LP Implements, and CE product groups.
• Manage day-to-day tooling, fixture fabrication, prototype shop activities, and material handling equipment.
• Coordinate priorities across product brands to ensure alignment with business needs and capacity.
• Develop and monitor KPIs, dashboards, and standards for safety, quality, responsiveness, and costs.
• Drive workflow management improvements and digital tool adoption across engineering and shop operations.
