Job summary

Challenge Manufacturing in Holland, MI seeks an experienced Die Setter/Press Operator to set up dies on 200–2500 ton presses, following JES sheets to produce quality parts on schedule.

You will log non-conformities, participate in corrective actions, and maintain a safe, clean workspace. The role supports continuous improvement and collaboration across teams in an employee-owned environment.

Qualifications

• Requires ability to read and follow JES sheets and die setup sheets.
• Experience with die setting in stamping preferred.
• Lockout/Tagout experience preferred; safety is paramount.
• Experience operating presses (200–2500 ton) preferred.
• Understanding of the Quality Management System and related procedures.

Responsibilities

• Set up and change dies on presses per JES and setup sheets to ensure quality parts.
• Identify and log non-conformities within the QMS and participate in corrective actions.
• Maintain housekeeping and comply with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
• Assist in scheduled training and continuous improvement activities.
• Support production flow and adjust processes to meet customer requirements.
