Job summary

Toledo Tool & Die, located in Toledo, Ohio, is hiring a Die Setter for our 1st shift to support progressive and transfer dies on power presses. The role focuses on accurate die setting and coordinating with the press team to meet customer specs in a fast-paced environment.

Starting pay is $22.00 per hour with weekly pay, 10 paid holidays, a 401(k) plan, and full benefits. Overtime opportunities and a safety-first workplace are emphasized.

Qualifications

• High school education with 1 year minimum die-setting experience or related technical field.
• Ability to pass mechanical aptitude test and die setter training program.
• Ability to obtain/retain Industrial Lift Truck, Overhead Crane, and Lockout/Tagout certifications.

Responsibilities

• Inspect dies before setup and ensure no debris on die surfaces.
• Remove, install, align dies and material coils in mechanical power press per specs.
• Start presses and monitor operations to verify first piece and sample quality.
• Provide training to team members in Large Press Area.
