Challenge Manufacturing in Kansas City, MO is seeking a Die/Press Operator to set up and change dies on progressive, secondary and transfer presses from 200 to 2500 tons, following JES and setup sheets to ensure quality parts produced per standards.

You will support the Quality Policy, participate in safety and continuous improvement, perform housekeeping, and work the Z shift 5:00 PM–5:00 AM Fri-Sun with potential overtime.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English to safely perform duties.
• 1–3 months related experience and/or training preferred.
• Metal stamping experience preferred.
• Die setting in stamping preferred.
• Lockout/Tagout experience preferred.
• Press operating experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Set up and change dies on progressive, secondary and transfer presses (200 to 2500 tons) per JES and setup sheets.
• Ensure quality parts meet Challenge Manufacturing standards and schedules.
• Adhere to Quality Policy and document non-conformities as needed.
• Participate in preventative/corrective actions and problem solving.
• Maintain clean, safe work area and comply with safety/environmental requirements.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and assist in training.
