Job summary

DSB Technologies in Janesville, WI is seeking a Die Setter Trainee to build a working knowledge to support manufacturing by performing accurate and timely tool installations & service calls to ensure the production of high quality powder metal products in the most efficient manner possible.

Under supervision, the Die Setter Trainee will learn to start, stop and adjust presses, perform complex tool installations, handle powder loading, ensure safety, and contribute to continuous improvement

Qualifications

• Must be able to perform essential functions under supervision.
• Ability to learn to operate and adjust presses and tooling.
• Willingness to follow safety rules and quality procedures.

Responsibilities

• Learns to start, stop and adjust presses.
• Learns tool installations on various presses and equipment.
• Operates machines to achieve target parameters and minimize rejects.
• Maintains tooling and equipment and handles powder loading and cleanup.
• Communicates effectively within manufacturing teams and adheres to safety policies.
• Follows powder handling duties and participates in continuous improvement.
• Complies with Fleet Safety Program when required.
