- 2nd Shift: 1:45 pm – 10:00 pm (must be available for overtime, daily, weekends and some holidays)

Summary
The Die Setter sets up, adjusts, and maintains stamping dies in mechanical and/or hydraulic presses to ensure efficient production runs and high‑quality parts. The role minimizes downtime and ensures tooling is aligned, secured and functioning properly.
Essential Job Functions
- Install, align and secure dies in stamping presses per production schedule and job specifications.
- Set up tooling and make necessary die adjustments to ensure proper operation and product quality.
- Perform die changes quickly and accurately to reduce machine downtime.
- Safely operate forklifts, overhead cranes and other material handling equipment.
- Troubleshoot die and press issues during production runs and escalate complex problems as needed.
- Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE.
- Accurately complete die setup and production documentation.
- Assist press operators and team members as necessary.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Requirements
- High school education or equivalent with at least one year of die‑setting or related technical experience, preferably in a metal stamping environment.
- Read, interpret and comprehend safety, operating and maintenance documents and procedures.
- Pass a mechanical aptitude test.
- Operate a power press.
- Complete a die setter training program.
- Possess or be able to obtain Industrial Powered Lift Truck certification.
- Possess or be able to obtain Overhead Crane certification.
- Possess or be able to obtain Lock‑out/Tag‑out Authorization certification.
- Perform multiple tasks in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment to meet delivery requirements.
- Lift up to 50 pounds.
- Work overtime (daily, weekends and holidays).
