Mancan Staffing is seeking a Press Room Die Setter for a manufacturing company in Coshocton, OH. The role involves safely setting up dies and tooling to maintain quality and production schedules.

Standard schedule is Monday through Thursday, 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM with pay starting at $20.00 per hour; overtime Fridays/Saturdays may be required and some 12-hour shifts could occur.

Press Room Die Setter Coshocton, OH

Mancan Staffing is currently seeking a Press Room Die Setter for a manufacturing company in Coshocton, Oh. The Press Room Die Setter is responsible for safely and accurately setting up dies and tooling to ensure efficient production while maintaining company quality standards and production schedules.

Schedule & Pay

Standard Schedule: MondayThursday, 6:00 AM 4:30 PM

Pay: Starting at $20.00 per hour (pay is negotiable based on experience)

Overtime: Must be available to work Fridays and Saturdays as needed.

Additional Hours: Occasional 12-hour shifts may be required based on production demands.

Current Schedule

While the standard schedule is Monday through Thursday, the company is currently operating extended hours, so flexibility is essential. Candidates must be willing to work overtime, including Fridays and Saturdays, to support production needs.

Responsibilities

• Performing complete and accurate die and tooling setups
• Following all company safety policies and procedures
• Maintaining quality standards throughout production
• Supporting on-time production schedules and delivery goal
• Recording setup and production data accurately
• Maintaining equipment and reporting maintenance concerns
• Participating in continuous improvement initiatives
• Working closely with production operators and supervisors to ensure efficient operation

Desired Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Two to four years of manufacturing experience preferred.
• Previous die setting, stamping press, or mechanical setup experience is preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot equipment and production issues.
• Ability to learn and perform all departmental functions and processes.
• Willingness to assist with maintaining and troubleshooting manufacturing equipment.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work overtime or additional hours as needed to meet production schedules.
• Ability to stand, bend, lift, and work in a manufacturing environment throughout the shift.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Safety
• Ensure all safety guards, devices, and equipment are properly installed, adjusted, and functioning before production begins.
• Verify that all required safety equipment is being used properly.
• Instruct operators on the proper use of safety equipment and required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work area around each press.

Die Setup & Production

• Locate and install the proper die and tooling.
• Locate and prepare the appropriate production material using coil payoff equipment or stands for cut material.
• Remove, store, and return dies and tooling to their designated locations.
• Report damaged tooling so repair tickets can be issued through the tool room.
