Qualifications

• Must be able to perform highly skilled tasks and solve complex problems.

• Tool & Die Repair Journeyman Papers is a plus, not required.

Responsibilities

• Repair, rebuild, and maintain casting and trim dies.
• Transport, clean, disassemble, repair, and reassemble casting and trim dies.
• Troubleshoot all production tooling problems.
• Perform all other duties incidental to the safe operation of the repair department.

Skills

Draw polish or grind die cavity surfaces using required tools or equipment

Build and replace segments, cores, details, and parts from blueprints

Perform welding duties in the foundry and the Die Repair Department

Education

Associates Degree, trade or technical school, journey person certificate
