Job summary

Hydro Extrusions in Portland, OR is seeking a Die Repair Set-Up to prepare tooling for presses and maintain die tooling through the production line. You will remove, wash, inspect, and transport dies and tooling, performing lift-and-move tasks with care to keep operations efficient.

Required is a high school diploma or GED, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to read work instructions and setup docs. Prior experience with aluminum extrusion or die shop is a plus; permanent position offering

Responsibilities

• Pull all correct tooling for press schedules and supply them to the correct Press/location.
• Remove all used tooling from presses and separate tooling for caustic/storage.
• Load used tooling into boil out tanks.
• Remove boiled out tooling from caustic tanks, rinse, dry.
• Shot blast all dies from caustic cleaning and transport into die repair shop.
• Manipulation and control of steel (50-75lbs) with pulling, pushing and lifting.
• Other duties as assigned.

Staring Rate of pay: $20/hour

Shift Premium: $1.00/hour extra for shift differential

What you will be doing

• Pull all correct tooling for press schedules and supply them to the correct Press/location.
