Job summary

Container Graphics Corporation in Toledo, OH is seeking a Diemaker to handcraft cutting dies using wood, steel rule knife and rubber, with support from automated equipment. The role reports to the Production Manager and requires careful reading of CAD drawings and adherence to SOPs.

Qualifications

• Basic math skills including fractions, decimals and geometry.
• Ability to read a tape measure and caliper accurately.
• Good hand-eye coordination for tool use and assembly.
• Basic computer platform knowledge.
• Clear verbal communication skills for team work.
• Familiarity with hand and power tools.

Responsibilities

• Layout and read SOP R-1 for die construction.
• Saw, cut, and shape materials per SOP R-2.
• Ruling tasks following SOP R-3 guidelines.
• Rubbering steps per SOP R-4 instructions.
• Follow CGC safety program requirements.
• Participate in quality checks and maintain area cleanliness.
• Read CAD files to assemble cutting dies accurately.
• Use manual and automated equipment to form materials.
• Assemble cutting dies by hand and perform related duties.
