Job summary

Toyota Manufacturing in Missouri is hiring a Skilled Die Maintenance Technician to perform preventative maintenance on casting dies used to manufacture aluminum cylinder heads for engine and automobile production across North America.

Starting hourly rate is $36.00 with a three-year grow-in up to $48.95, plus a $1.50 hourly shift premium for PM shifts. Opportunities include Weekday PM and Weekend PM shifts, with weekend hours paid at 40 but only 36 hours.

Qualifications

AAS in a related field or 2 years of Industrial Maintenance experience/Military experience.
Experience assembling, welding, grinding, machining, and hand finishing dies to maintain quality.
Strong electrical and mechanical knowledge.
Demonstrated ability to solve problems.
Technical knowledge in Tool & Die, Welding, Machining.

Responsibilities

Perform welding, grinding, machining, hand finishing and fabrication.
Perform die modifications for surface quality and accuracy.
Assembly and disassembly of dies and die components.
Operate cranes and industrial vehicles.
Conduct emergency repairs.
Work in a team setting.
Log daily book entries to communicate activities, issues, and progress of work.
Solve problems to improve safety, quality, and productivity.
Stand and walk 10-12 hours per shift.
Work in non-climate-controlled environment (hot in the summer, cool in the winter).
