Job summary

Toyota Manufacturing in the United States is seeking a skilled Die Maintenance Technician to perform preventative maintenance on casting dies used in aluminum cylinder head production for Toyota's North American plants.

Responsibilities include welding, grinding, machining, die modifications, assembly and disassembly of dies, crane operation, emergency repairs, and daily documentation while working in a team to boost safety, quality, and productivity. Competitive shifts and pay apply.

Qualifications

• A 2-year Associate of Applied Science (AAS) in a related field or 2 years of Industrial Maintenance experience/Military experience
• Experience assembling, welding, grinding, machining, and hand finishing dies to maintain quality
• Strong electrical and mechanical knowledge
• Demonstrated ability to solve problems
• Technical knowledge and skills in Tool & Die, Welding, Machining
• Available to work any shift including overtime, holidays, weekends, and shutdowns
• Perform basic administrative skills including documentation of work performed by written/electronic methods

Who we're looking for

Toyota's Die Maintenance Department is looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated Skilled Die Maintenance Technician. The primary responsibility of this role is preventative maintenance on casting dies used to manufacture aluminum cylinder heads that support the engine production and ultimately automobile production for all Toyota plants in North America.

What we offer

• Starting hourly rate of $36.00 with a 3 year grow-in rate up to $48.95
• $1.50 hourly shift premium for PM shifts
• Quarterly attendance and safety bonus
• Current hiring for the following shifts: Weekday PM, 8pm-6:30am, Mon-Thurs
• Weekend PM, 6pm-6:30am, Fri-Sun *
• (* Weekend shift is 36 hours, but paid 40 hours)
