Job summary

Ms Companies, LLC seeks qualified Die Maintenance Technicians to support the maintenance and upkeep of mass production tooling at a Springfield, Ohio facility. The role involves repairing progressive and transfer tooling, diagnosing tooling issues, and keeping production equipment operating safely and efficiently.

Ideal candidates will have a two-year Tool and Die Technology degree (or equivalent automotive stamping experience), strong reading of mechanical drawings, and the ability to work

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Two-year degree in Tool and Die Technology with at least two years of on-the-job experience, or documented die maintenance experience in an automotive metal stamping facility in place of a degree
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings
• Ability to work overtime and weekends as needed
• Flexibility to work any shift based on production needs
• Stable work history with a strong attendance record
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Commitment to following established safety procedures and safe working methods
• Must pass a written qualification test followed by a hands-on skills test

This position is responsible for repairing and maintaining progressive and transfer tooling, troubleshooting tooling issues, and helping keep production equipment operating efficiently and safely.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Physical demands and working conditions may include standing, walking, or sitting for extended periods and lifting approximately 25–50 pounds. Work may be performed in a manufacturing, warehouse, or office environment depending on the assigned responsibilities.
