Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Technical training in Tool & Die, Industrial Maintenance, or Machining preferred.
• Experience with TIG, MIG, and arc welding, grinding, machining, and metal fabrication.
• Ability to read engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications.
• Familiarity with preventive maintenance procedures and safety requirements.
• Experience with Plex or other maintenance management systems preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on stamping dies.
• Identify and troubleshoot die-related issues, including in-press repairs.
• Set up and operate die spotting presses for adjustments.
• Welding, grinding, machining, and fabrication to repair dies.
• Read and interpret drawings, blueprints and technical instructions.
• Conduct scheduled die inspections and preventive maintenance.
• Support production and die trials; coordinate with other departments.
• Document maintenance activities in Plex and other systems.
• Follow safety policies including LOTO, PPE usage.
• Maintain 5S, clean and organized work area.
• Communicate maintenance status and handover information.
• Assist in on-the-job training for Die Maintenance associates.
• Identify opportunities for reliability and efficiency improvements.
• Report damaged equipment and inventory needs.
• Comply with policies and standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
