Job summary

Fort Recovery Industries is hiring Die Maintenance Technicians on the 2nd shift at our Portland facility. Starting wage is $22.60 per hour, including shift premium. You will maintain dies, move them with an overhead crane, and work with production to improve equipment performance.

No prior experience required; paid internal training helps you grow beyond $29 per hour. We offer weekly pay, company-paid training, life insurance, short-term disability, a 401(k) with matching, and vacation/holiday

• Our candidate will have a solid hands-on mechanical background and safety mindset.
• We will provide paid internal training to get you up to speed.

Responsibilities

• Keep dies running with daily maintenance and repairs.
• Move dies safely using an overhead crane to/from presses and storage.
• Hunt down root causes of equipment issues and fix them.
• Collaborate with production and maintenance to improve die performance.

What You'll Actually Do

As a Die Maintenance Technician, you'll:

• Keep our dies running strong with daily maintenance and repairs
• Move dies safely using an overhead crane (to/from presses and storage)
• Hunt down root causes of equipment issues and fix them for good
• Collaborate with production and maintenance to improve performance of Dies

No prior experience required. Bring a solid hands-on mechanical background and we'll take care of the rest. You'll jump into our paid internal training program (online + hands-on) and can grow into earning over $29.00 an hour.
