Job summary

Work Options Group in Temecula, CA seeks a Die Fabrication Process Development Engineer to help create manufacturable, high-yield processes for advanced devices in aerospace, defense, bioelectronics, and high-speed communications. You will partner with integration and product engineering, guide technicians, analyze metrology data, and drive continuous improvements across wafer and die fabrication steps.

The role requires hands-on lab work, SolidWorks drawings, robotics and programming

Qualifications

• Fab or lab experience in mechanical engineering with robotics and programming.
• Experience with process optimization in semiconductor environments.
• Strong data analysis and statistical knowledge (SPC).

Responsibilities

• Partner with Integration Engineers, Customers, and other Development Engineers to execute experiments and optimize processes.
• Guide and assist Process Technicians through challenging process steps.
• Analyze metrology results and disposition lots based on data and pass/fail criteria.
• Report and summarize results from metrology analysis and provide guidance to teams.
• Sustain and improve processes for die fabrication, wafer scribing, and related steps.
• Create and maintain operating specifications for production processes and equipment.
• Monitor process health with SPC and respond to out-of-control events.
