Job summary

JohnsByrne is seeking a 3rd shift die cutting operator in Oakton - Niles, IL. This full-time role requires reading/writing, basic math, and prior die cutting/foil stamping/embossing experience.

You will load products, set up presses, and train others while maintaining safety and quality across shifts. Strong mechanical aptitude and teamwork are essential to succeed in a shop environment with moderate noise and regular exposure to moving parts.

• Performs setup and make-ready on the machine

• Follows instructions from job ticket and completes proper paperwork
• Instructs and trains others
• Communicates well within a team environment encompassing all shifts
• Required to perform other duties as directed, assigned or requested

Qualifications

• Minimum of high school education or equivalent
• 3 year of related die cutting, foil stamping and embossing experience
• Required to read and write, follow verbal instructions and use simple math
