Job summary

Aviso, LLC is seeking an experienced machine operator for our Fremont, CA manufacturing floor. You will set up and run die-cutting and converting equipment, load materials, and verify first-piece quality before full production.

Ideal candidates have hands-on mechanical aptitude, a strong safety mindset, and the ability to interpret work instructions to adjust tooling and resolve issues quickly on the line.

Qualifications

• Prior machine operation experience in manufacturing (die-cutting, converting, or printing equipment preferred).
• Ability to interpret work instructions and adjust tooling independently.
• Commitment to strict safety procedures and standards (LOTO, PPE, guarding).

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate die-cutting and converting equipment per job specs and instructions.
• Load materials, adjust tooling, and approve first pieces before production.
• Monitor operation to resolve quality issues, jams, or defects.
• Perform routine in-process quality checks against specs.
• Maintain equipment with cleaning, lubrication, and basic troubleshooting.
• Record production counts, scrap, and downtime per shift.
• Follow plant safety guidelines, including LOTO, PPE, and guarding.
