Job summary

American Games in Council Bluffs seeks an experienced Die Cutter Machine Operator to set up, operate, monitor and troubleshoot die-cutting equipment, keeping production moving safely and to quality specs.

You will read work orders, inspect materials, perform routine maintenance, train helpers, and adapt to shifts as needed in a fast-paced manufacturing environment producing charitable and lottery gaming products.

Qualifications

• Two to four years of technical training or related machine operation experience.
• Three to five years of experience operating die-cutting equipment.
• Strong mechanical and technical aptitude with ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
• Knowledge of sheet-fed equipment; printing experience not required.
• Ability to read and interpret work orders, blueprints and production specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality.
• Ability to direct helpers and assist with training team members.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, monitor and troubleshoot die-cutting equipment while ensuring safe, efficient production and compliance with quality specifications.
• Monitor machine performance and adjust to minimize downtime and material waste.
• Inspect materials and finished products to ensure quality standards.
• Perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshoot mechanical issues.
• Read and interpret work orders, specifications and production documentation.
• Rotate into other production positions as needed to support operational demands.
