Job summary

Pratt Industries, Inc. is seeking a Die Cutter Helper to assist the machine operator in setup, operation, and cleanup of the die cutter. You will help run folding and gluing operations, monitor quality, and follow safety and housekeeping rules.

Strong reading and math skills are helpful; a high school diploma or GED is required. Candidates with corrugated industry experience preferred; lifting up to 50 pounds and ability to work in a loud environment are expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Preferred corrugated industry experience.
• Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic math.
• Able to read and follow instructions in English.

Responsibilities

• Assist the machine operator with setup and operation of the die cutter.
• Minimize waste and maintain product quality during runs.
• Check quality and report defects such as mis-slots or misprints.
• Complete production reports and maintain housekeeping.
• Follow safety rules and maintain equipment as directed.
