Job summary

Digital Room in Brooklyn, OH is hiring a Die Cutter Operator for the 2nd shift (Mon-Fri, 2:00pm-10:00pm). You will load and monitor Heidelberg/Die Cutter machinery, select dies, verify cuts, and record production data with the IMS system.

Overtime may be required and safety is a priority. Ideal candidates have 1 year in paper print production, 6 months packing experience, strong attention to detail, good communication, and the ability to work with management and team members in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year experience in paper print using production machinery (Heidelberg Cylinder and Windmill Die Cutter machines preferred).
• At least 6 months’ packing experience.
• Good problem-solving skills.
• Good organizational skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with management and team members.
• Ability to safely use hand/power tools.
• Ability to multi-task with changing priorities.
• Ability to recognize safety issues and corrective actions.

Responsibilities

We are actively hiring for a Die Cutter Operator in our plant in Brooklyn, OH.

Shift: 2nd shift Monday-Friday 2:00pm-10:00pm

Duties & Responsibilities

• Access IMS program to determine priority jobs and set workload for the day.
• Determine what size and pattern of die will be used to run the cutting job.
• Observe the Die Cutting machine while running, to make any adjustments and ensure a smooth and accurate cut is done on the pattern.
• Inspect the die cut job to ensure accuracy and quality before packing in designated box.
• Record production and operational data using IMS system, such as entering completed jobs.
• Report any and all workplace hazards to management immediately.
• Ensure all equipment, tools, and workstation are in good working order and are free of any safety hazards.
• Must be available for any required overtime based on business needs.
• Must be proactive with completing other duties as assigned
