Job summary

Midwest Rubber Service & Supply Co. is seeking a Die Cutter I to set up and operate a 70-ton die-cutting press for producing labeled parts. You will load materials, align pieces with the die, and monitor quality, addressing any defects while maintaining a safe work environment with PPE.

You will also set up the pad printer, inspect finished parts, and record labor and quality data in the ERP system as part of continuous improvement efforts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to follow instructions and operate independently.
• Ability to use required tools (knife, square, straight edge, etc)

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate the 70-ton die-cutting press for production.
• Load raw materials onto the press bed and align workpieces with the die.
• Monitor operation for misalignment or material defects and correct as needed.
• Inspect finished parts for defects, dimensions, and surface finish.
• Follow safety protocols and wear PPE.
• Track labor data in the ERP system and report quality issues to supervisor.
• All other duties as assigned.
