The role requires 3-5 years in rotary die cut or web converting, GMP knowledge, and basic math/inspection skills. Responsibilities include changing over presses, performing quality checks, maintaining logs, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Education: High school plus job related course/certification or equivalent training and/or experience, with focus on technical or mechanical field.
• Experience: 3-5 years experience related to Rotary Die Cut or Continuous Web Converting Industry.
• Ability to read and interpret English documents such as safety rules and procedures.
• Knowledge of GMPs and basic cleanroom production; expertise with press machines and related equipment.
• Basic knowledge of polymers, foils and materials; basic electricity and circuits; basic computer skills (MS Office).
• Understanding of quality methods and procedures; ability to use rulers, calipers, and inspection tools.

Responsibilities

• Operates die cutting press machines; performs setup and changeovers per procedures.
• Works with various rotary die cut presses and auxiliary equipment to meet specs.
• Performs quality inspections per drawings and documentation; maintains logs.
• Designs/modifies web path layouts for efficiency and speed.
• Troubleshoots die-cutting, lamination, and printing issues.
• Maintains production records and initiates repairs as needed.
• Promotes continuous improvement to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
• Maintains clean and safe work environment; adheres to GMPs and SOPs.
