The Fold/Glue Operator at Surestaff in Bartlett, IL operates the Kluge Folder/Gluer, performs routine maintenance, and ensures quality. You will assist in training, prepare job jackets, and label finished loads while maintaining a clean, safe workspace.
Responsibilities include expediting projects, following safety procedures, and supporting the team with additional tasks as needed.
The Fold/Glue Operator is responsible for the set-up and operation of the Kluge Folder/Gluer. Performs preventative and routine maintenance on all essential equipment. Assists operators in the training of new personnel as directed. Feed folder/gluer while operating equipment. Makes required quality assurance pulls and corrects defects as needed. Establishes case pack and count per job ticket or as otherwise directed. Files job corrugates and job tickets upon the completion of a job. Fills out all required job information entries on job jacket. Verifies job information on carton labels with job tickets.
Labels and flags all finished loads appropriately per job ticket. Maintains a clean and safe workspace. Follows all safety and quality procedures. Reports all mechanical and safety issues to supervisor.
Performs all duties as assigned.
Pay: $24-$32 BOE
