Job summary

Smurfit Westrock in Richmond, VA is seeking experienced Machine Operators to join a fast-paced team. Training is available for those new to the role, with opportunities for growth within a major packaging and recycling company.

Starting pay is $25.95 per hour, with a comprehensive benefits package including health, dental and vision insurance, 401(k) with company match, paid vacation and holidays. Shift options include 2nd and 3rd with training on 1st shift.

What you need to succeed:

• Ability to operate various manufacturing equipment, follow specific directions and other duties as assigned.
• Comply with all safety regulations
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Possess excellent work ethic and attention to detail.
• Ability to read a tape measure effectively and basic mathematics
• Daily requirements may include lifting or moving items weighing 25-50lbs
• Daily duties may include standing for long periods of time

Military training is a bonus.

The starting rate is$25.95/hr per hour, depending on your role, level, and location. The benefits for this role may include short-term bonus incentive, health, dental and vision insurance, flexible spending accounts or health savings accounts, retirement savings plans, life and disability insurance programs, and paid sick leave as required by applicable state/local law, 5 days of paid vacation prorated year 1, and 10 days of paid holidays, subject to annual change. Your actual pay will be based on your work location and other factors, such as your skills, experience, and education.
