Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR is seeking a Shift Supervisor to oversee the die casting department, coordinate daily production activities, and maintain a safe, productive work environment while meeting production, quality, and delivery goals.

You will lead, train, and support staff on 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts (7am-3pm, 3pm-11pm, 11pm-7am), collaborate with Maintenance, Engineering, Quality, and HR, and drive continuous improvement across methods, equipment, and processes.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operation of the die casting department to meet production requirements safely and efficiently.
• Assign employees to workstations based on production needs and staffing levels.
• Monitor shift production and address downtime, delays, or equipment issues.
• Ensure machines are operated per procedures and safety requirements.
• Provide hands-on support and training as needed.
• Track machine performance, production rate, scrap, and downtime.
• Identify opportunities to improve methods, equipment, and workflow.
• Collaborate with Maintenance, Engineering, Quality, and HR to resolve issues.
• Ensure proper startup, shutdown, and changeovers are followed.
