Job summary

Orion Castings in Wisconsin seeks a skilled Maintenance Technician to maintain, rebuild and repair equipment to support production goals. The role requires strong electrical/electronic, hydraulic/pneumatic, and mechanical skills, with the ability to train others and follow safety procedures.

You will move dies and components, troubleshoot control circuits, work with PLC hardware, and perform routine preventive maintenance on furnaces, pumps, and compressors.

Qualifications

• Must understand hydraulics and pneumatics, PLCs, and electrical/electronic systems.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
• Welding experience including arc and MIG desirable.
• Willing to keep up with changing technology and safety training.
• Able to follow OSHA rules and company safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Move dies, components and materials with a forklift and organize mold storage.
• Disassemble and assemble dies; use die manuals for proper assembly.
• Troubleshoot electrical control circuits and maintain electrical systems.
• Repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems; service furnaces, transformers and pumps.
• Repair die cast machinery parts and assist PLC hardware maintenance.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and follow quality procedures.
