Job summary

Brunswick is seeking a Die Cast Operator to support production by cleaning, inspecting, and preparing dies for safe and efficient use at our Fond du Lac, WI plant. You will disassemble/reassemble dies, handle tooling, and maintain accurate records while adhering to safety standards.

The role requires precise measurements with gauges and micrometers, operating cleaning equipment, and maintaining inventory and documentation.

Qualifications

• Safely operate overhead hoists and material-handling equipment.
• Use steam cleaning equipment, bead blasters, air grinders, electric grinders, hand hones and related tooling.
• Read, measure, and record dimensions with bore gauges and micrometers.
• Follow written procedures and supervisor directions.
• Complete production records and die traveler paperwork.
• Perform physical work including lifting and positioning tooling and die components.
• Follow safety PPE and procedures.
• Perform basic equipment adjustments and minor repairs.

Responsibilities

• Clean, inspect, and prepare dies and related components for production use.
• Disassemble and reassemble dies, slides, core boxes, chambers, and related tooling.
• Remove grease and contaminants from dies and tooling.
• Operate cleaning and finishing tools and material-handling equipment.
• Inspect die components and verify dimensions with precision instruments.
• Maintain die and spare-part identification and inventory records.
• Perform routine equipment adjustments and basic maintenance.
• Maintain clean and orderly work areas and follow safety rules.
