Ahresty in Wilmington, OH is seeking a Die Casting Operator to support production. You will set up, start, operate, and shut down die casting machines, inspect parts, trim and finish, and ensure daily production targets while maintaining part quality.

The role requires adherence to SOPs, routine maintenance, accurate production documentation, and strict safety practices. You will move materials with a pallet jack and contribute to 5S and continuous improvement in a busy plant.

Responsibilities

• Trim and finish parts using hand tools and equipment
• Perform routine machine cleaning, maintenance, and housekeeping tasks
• Monitor production processes and identify quality or equipment issues
• Complete quality checks and production documentation accurately
• Move materials and finished goods using a powered pallet jack
• Print tags, enter production data, and record scrap information in company systems
• Follow product segregation procedures for non-conforming parts
• Conduct equipment safety checks and follow all lockout/tagout and safety procedures
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Support continuous improvement and 5S workplace standards

Salary Range: $20.50 To $22.65 Hourly

Position Summary:

Carry out needs of production by following Standard Operational Procedures for die casting, quality inspections, and maintaining the performance of the die cast machine

Scope of Responsibilities:

Responsible for achieving daily production targets and ensure part quality meets customer requirements.
