Job summary

Arnold Magnetic Technologies Corporation in Greenville, OH is seeking a Die Cast Operator on 2nd shift to create, adapt, and adjust molds used in cast manufacturing. You will set up equipment, perform inspections with measuring tools, and conduct production runs with quality checks before molds enter production.

The role requires strong machinery knowledge, problem-solving abilities, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, with training on 2nd shift for 4–6 weeks.

• Maintains knowledge of materials and products.
• Assists machinists and millwrights with injection molding process and equipment.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
• Must train on 1st shift for 4-6 weeks.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Constructs, adapts, and modifies molds for die cast tooling, metal stamping, and other molding operations.
• Uses various measuring and gauging tools to perform necessary inspections before, during, and after molding operations.
• Sets up equipment based on mold requirements, materials, and tolerances.
• Executes production runs; conducts quality control testing before mold enters production cycle.
• Maintains knowledge of materials and products.
• Assists machinists and millwrights with injection molding process and equipment.

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods standing.
• Must be able to lift and move up to 50 pounds at a time.
• Superior manual dexterity, muscular control, and delicate touch necessary to complete precision work without damaging valuable molds.
• Visual acuity to read blueprints and perform visual inspections.

Pay Information:

• Base $22.50
• Shift premium $2.00
• $24.50 (when on 2nd)

Shifts:

• 2nd shift -Monday- Thursday 2:30pm-1:00am
