Job summary

You will set up, feed, and monitor machines, inspect parts, record transactions, perform basic measurements and math, and contribute to continuous quality improvement. Safety and housekeeping are essential to maintain a productive workplace.

Qualifications

• Willingness to learn new operations as needed.
• Ability to perform setup and adjustments as experience is gained.
• Capable of setting up and operating die cast dies.

Responsibilities

• Lift metal parts or stock onto machine and secure on table.
• Feed parts into automatic machines and remove machined parts.
• Change and replace tools as experience is gained.
• Observe machines to meet quality specs and maximize uptime.
• Inspect products for surface and dimensional defects.
• Record production transactions and work time.
• Perform basic measurement and math tasks.
• Perform machining, sub-assembly, or finishing die castings.
• Support Continuous Quality Improvement process.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and follow safety rules.
