Job summary

Pace Industries, LLC is seeking a Finish Operator to perform operations supporting customer needs in our die casting facility. You will learn and perform various tasks, fill in as needed, and contribute to a productive operation while following safety rules.

The role offers exposure to setup, adjustments, tool changes, and quality measurement using gauges. Overtime may be required as production demands arise, with opportunities to grow skills in a leading manufacturer.

Qualifications

• Experience operating manufacturing equipment or similar machinery.
• Ability to read gauges and document production data accurately.
• Commitment to safety policies and reporting hazards promptly.

Responsibilities

• Perform secondary operations as assigned and support other class operations when needed.
• Set up and adjust equipment as experience grows.
• Change tools and ensure quality of castings with gauges.
• Maintain clean, safe work area and complete required paperwork.

Join us in becoming the premier die casting manufacturer and engineering solutions supplier worldwide. Finish Operator will perform all operations required to support customer needs. Must be able and willing to fill in and support any and all other class operations when a demand is needed. Must have the willingness to learn new operations as needed.

Duties and Responsibilities

This job includes but is not limited to the following:

• Perform secondary operations as needed and assigned.
• Perform other associated duties, functions or work as may be needed or assigned to continue the productive operation of the company.
• Perform and assist in the set up and adjustments of equipment as experience is gained.
• Change and replace tools when necessary as experience is gained.
• Use of gauges to assure the quality of the castings.
• Stand and operate machine or equipment continuously-a minimum of 8 hours per day.
• Participate in training programs deemed necessary by the company.
• Required to complete paperwork associated with the job. (time card, machine card, production records, charts, etc.)
• Must follow all safety rules and work in a safe manner, so not to endanger self or co-workers.
• Report unsafe conditions.
• Wear required personal protective equipment.
• Keep work area clean and orderly.
• Capable and willing to work overtime.
