Job summary

Paylocity is seeking an entry-level Die Cast Operator for 2nd shift (M-Th 3:15pm - 1:45am). You will operate die casting machines, perform visual and dimensional inspections, and record process readings to meet quality specifications.

Responsibilities include setting up equipment, handling parts, deflashing, measuring with precision tools, and ensuring safety and environmental compliance in a high-temperature environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read and follow written instructions.
• Willingness to work 2nd shift and in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Observe machines to ensure products meet specs and detect malfunctions.
• Measure and inspect products using precision tools for defects.
• Set up, operate, or tend metal casting machines.
• Position and secure work pieces on machines.
• Remove finished products and trim excess material.
• Record production transactions and work time.
• Follow safety, health, and environmental rules.
