Job summary

Orion Castings, a premier die casting manufacturer and engineering solutions provider in the United States, seeks a Maintenance Technician to keep production equipment reliable and efficient.

You will perform scheduled maintenance, assist with robotic projects in CNC and Die Cast departments, and support CMMS implementation while upholding safety and quality standards.

This role offers hands-on growth and opportunities to work with modern automation.

Qualifications

• 2-year tech degree or 5 years related experience.
• Previous CNC equipment experience required.
• Proficient with CNC Mills, Lathes, Fanuc/UR, hydraulics/pneumatics, and related equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled maintenance on machine tools including cleaning, lubrication, filter changes, belt replacement, adjustments, and basic repairs.
• Source repair parts and maintain Spare Parts inventory.
• Assist in occasional robotic projects in CNC and Die Cast departments.
• Assist with CMMS implementation and maintenance.
• Adhere to all quality and safety standards within the department.
• Maintain clean and organized work area with emphasis on safety, quality, efficiency, and utilization.
