Job summary

Brobston Group LLC in New York State seeks a Machine Operator - Production to operate laser inscription equipment and maintain high-quality inscription standards on Tiffany diamonds. You will support the Grading Lab workflow using Sarine technology and perform routine maintenance while coordinating with leadership to resolve equipment issues.

Ideal candidates have 2-3 years of machine operation experience, strong computer skills, and a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of experience operating and maintaining machines/equipment.
• Ability to work well in a dynamic team and manage multiple priorities.
• Advanced computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office programs.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education.
• Preferred: Diamond Grading Diploma and experience with Sarine proportion evaluation equipment.

Responsibilities

• Operate laser inscription equipment and maintain accuracy/quality of the inscription process on Tiffany diamonds.
• Support risk mitigation and processing for qualifying diamonds into the Grading Lab using Sarine technology.
• Perform adjustments and calibrate equipment to ensure optimal machine performance.
• Coordinate routine performance maintenance and communicate equipment issues promptly to leadership.
• Lead training sessions around machine operation and create SOP documentation.
• Provide support to TCO/Laurelton partners and assist with various projects and tasks.
• Adhere to all workplace safety policies and procedures.
