Job summary

Diamond Foundry Inc. is seeking a versatile technician to operate and develop processes for CNC laser systems in a fast-growing diamond manufacturing setting. You’ll collaborate with process engineers to push forward new process development and help release processes to production.

The role requires an associate’s degree or relevant experience, attention to detail, and the ability to perform tasks safely with PPE. Overtime and weekend shifts may be required for production goals.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in a technical field or 3+ years of related work experience.
• Ability to perform critical tasks with high accuracy per procedure and PPE as required.
• No work restrictions: standing, kneeling, reaching, climbing ladders, lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Willingness to work routine overtime and on nights/weekends to meet production goals.
• Manufacturing or facilities experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Set up and run laser CNC systems to cut high-priority customer and R&D samples.
• Collaborate with process engineers to evaluate, standardize, and support new process development.
• Assist with writing SOPs and training production technicians to release new processes to production.
• Work with team and independently to maintain good manufacturing processes and continuous improvements.
• Communicate production status and issues to team members and management.
