U.S. Renal Care in Ellisville, MO is seeking a Unit Clerk to join our clinic team. You will greet patients and visitors, answer phones, schedule transportation, and support a welcoming, professional environment for kidney care patients.

You will maintain medical records, prepare charts for treatments, assist with billing, process lab slips, and help ensure accurate documentation and compliance. A strong administrative background in healthcare is preferred.

Qualifications

• Six months of relevant experience in clinical/healthcare settings.
• Minimum one year of administrative experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Ability to organize time and tasks efficiently.
• Familiarity with USRC applications within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors; answer phones and respond to patient questions.
• Maintain and update medical records; prepare patient charts for treatments.
• Enter charges and assist in billing; maintain attendance logs.
• Process lab slips and direct specimens to the appropriate laboratory.
• Support inventory, supplies, and forms required by government agencies.

Responsibilities

How you will change lives

As a Unit Clerk at US Renal Care, you will be an integral part of a cross-functional team, providing operational support to maintain clinic operations and provide the best customer care for patients living with kidney disease.

What you'll be doing

Customer Care.

You will be a critical member of the clinic team, creating a welcoming and professional atmosphere by greeting patients and visitors, answering phones, answering patient questions, and assisting patients with transportation arrangements, as needed.

Operational Support.

You will maintain clinic operations effectively by updating and maintaining medical records, preparing patient records and charts for treatments, and assisting in auditing records for ongoing compliance. You will support financial operations by entering charges and preparing billing and patient attendance logs. You will also complete forms and reports as required by governmental agencies. You will ensure adequate supplies and inventory and reordering when required. In addition, you will help process lab work by preparing lab slips and tubes and directing labs to the appropriate laboratory.

Qualifications

• Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office, (including Word and Excel).
