Job summary

Baptist Health Floyd's Dialysis Unit seeks a part-time Dialysis Tech/Nursing Assistant for weekend coverage (Sat & Sun, 7am–7pm) in New Albany, IN. The role supports the RN during dialysis initiation and discontinuation and includes cannulation and general Nursing Assistant duties on the floor.

Requirements include BLS for Healthcare Provider and dialysis tech certification; prior dialysis tech or NA experience preferred; HS diploma/equivalent or CNA preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• BLS for Healthcare Provider is required.
• Dialysis tech certification is required.
• Previous Dialysis Tech/Nursing Assistant experience is required.
• HS diploma/equivalent or CNA preferred, not required.

Responsibilities

• The Dialysis tech would assist the RN in initiation and discontinuation of dialysis treatment.
• Cannulation of hemodialysis access.
• All other Nursing Assistant duties as assigned.
