Avera St Anthony’s Hospital in Nebraska is seeking a registered nurse for a dialysis-focused role. The position is PRN with day shifts, providing patient care and training for home dialysis as part of a multidisciplinary team.

The caregiver will perform dialysis procedures, ensure unit safety, and collaborate with physicians and staff to deliver high-quality patient care. RN licensure in the practicing state and dialysis experience are preferred.

Qualifikationen

• Active RN license in state of practice.
• Experience in dialysis nursing or home dialysis training is preferred.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Aufgaben

• Performs and maintains knowledge and proficiency in dialysis treatments.
• Provides oversight and delegation to department staff.
• Ensures compliance related to water room equipment operation and function.
• Follows departmental policies, safety and infection control standards.
• Documents in patient records according to policy.
• Coordinates care with Medical Director, Nephrologist and care teams.
• Educates patients and families about dialysis process and self-care.
