Job summary

Health First is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide direct and indirect patient care using the nursing process in a collaborative environment. You will promote optimal outcomes through evidence-based practice, care coordination, and patient/family engagement.

The role requires ASN or Nursing Diploma with Florida RN licensure; BLS is required and ACLS/PALS/NRP/NIHSS certifications are encouraged. BSN is preferred; strong EMR/documentation skills are essential.

Qualifications

• ASN or Nursing Diploma required; Florida RN licensure or endorsement.
• New graduates considered based on unit needs.
• AAHA BLS required; ACLS/PALS/NRP/NIHSS certifications encouraged.
• BSN preferred.
• Proficient in EMR and patient documentation; strong clinical assessment.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect nursing care per the nursing process.
• Administer medications and document care activities per policies.
• Coordinate care with interdisciplinary team; participate in rounds.
• Identify changes in patient condition and initiate interventions.
• Educate patients and families using teach-back.
• Adhere to safety and infection prevention practices.
• Utilize Health First technology for documentation and care plans.
• Participate in quality improvement, safety, and HRO initiatives.
• Support precepting and onboarding of new staff and students.
• Promote bedside communication and rounding practices.
