Job summary

Rochester Regional Health is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for Seneca Ridge Dialysis in Rochester, NY. The RN will perform assessments, develop care plans, administer treatments and coordinate with the dialysis team to ensure safe, compassionate patient care during 2–5 hour sessions.

This full-time role offers 40 hours/week with shifts 5:15am-1:45pm or 1:30pm-10pm, Monday-Saturday (every other Saturday and 3 Sundays per month around holidays).

Qualifications

• Diploma or Associate's Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred.
• Registered Nurse license in New York State.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Responsibilities

• Performs initial and ongoing assessment of the patient.
• Documents assessment findings with the interdisciplinary team.
• Develops and documents plan of care tailored to patient needs.
• Provides care in collaboration with the interdisciplinary health team.
• Educates patient and family using teach-back method.
• Ensures safety, medication administration, and documentation per policy.
• Participates in problem-solving and quality improvement activities.
