The RN will perform assessments, plan and deliver treatments, educate patients and families, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to optimize outcomes.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Associate's Degree in Nursing is required.
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing is preferred.
• Registered Nurse license in New York State is required.
• BLS certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Performs initial and ongoing assessment of the patient using appropriate data.
• Demonstrates clinical judgment in responding to priority patient needs.
• Communicates and documents patient assessment with the interdisciplinary team.
• Develops and documents an individualized plan of care and services.
• Maintains appropriate nurse-patient relationships and adheres to safety policies.
• Assists with medication administration and documentation.
• Provides education to patient and family as identified.

Education

Diploma or Associate's Degree in Nursing
