Job summary

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Lakeview is recruiting a Hemodialysis RN to deliver direct patient care to dialysis inpatients, assess needs, and develop individualized care plans. You will supervise treatments and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to support patient recovery in a rehabilitation environment.

The role requires RN licensure, CPR, and ACLS within 1 year. Dialysis nursing experience and inpatient hospital background are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure in state regulations.
• CPR certification.
• ACLS within 1 year of hire.
• CRRN certification preferred (we can assist to obtain).
• 6 months dialysis nursing experience required.
• 1 year of inpatient hospital experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to inpatients needing hemodialysis.
• Supervise care and treatments, conduct patient assessments, create personalized care plans, address patient concerns.
• Build rewarding relationships with patients addressing physical, mental, and emotional needs to aid recovery.
• Educate nursing staff on hemodialysis patient care, equipment, and standards of care.
